BRIEFS:

On September 18, Jean Michel Jarre will give a live performance at the 15th Apple Computer Expo, held in Paris between September 16-20. The concert is free, all you need to do is register in advance on the Apple France web site (http://www.apple.fr) and pick up your invitation at Apple Expo.
On October 17, Heinz Holliger will give a live performance in Zürich, Switzerland.
On September 18-20, the ICMF'98 (International Computer Music Festival) will be held in Kobe (Japan). This is the first ICMF in Japan. The theme will be the 50th anniversary of Musique Concrete.
The complete version of The Wet Book by Anatoly Peresleghin will be released soon. Peresleghin was born in Moscow, Russia, in 1954. He is a composer, sound engineer, and architect. He is member of the Russian Electroacoustic Music Association. Since 1992, he lives in Jerusalem.
On October 3, Stephan Micus will give a live performance in Le Thoronet, France.

September 17, 1998. MIKE OLDFIELD'S TUBULAR BELLS 3.

Tubular Bells 3 has been released on August 31 by WEA. The concert at Horse Guard's Parade was filmed and shown on Spanish TV. The video will be commercially available in several weeks. The complete Tubular Bells 3 tour with about 30 dates will be in the Spring of next year.

September 17, 1998. THE MUSIC BY KLIMPEREI.

Klimperei (Francoise & Christophe Petchanatz) are working on a new release. Their music is an interesting combination of alternative Rock, Techno-Industrial, New Instrumental Music, Neo-classical, Ambient, and several elements of sonic experimentation. They founded the duo in 1985. Their previous trajectory includes Los Paramos (1978) and Totentanz (Industrial Rock). Klimperei have collaborated with C-Drik and Pierre Bastien. Christophe Petchanatz's solo musical style has been compared in some ways to that of Brian Eno, Kraftwerk and Syd Barret. Contact Address: petchanatz@homme-moderne.org
