BRIEFS:

Jean Michel Jarre was in Tokyo, Japan, from April 27 to May 6 on a promotional tour. On June 3, he will be at the FNAC Headquarters at the Champs Elysees, Paris, France.
There is a rumour that Maurice Jarre (great soundtrack composer and father of Jean Michel) will give a live performance in Spain on November.
Clara Rockmore, the legendary virtuoso of the theremin, died on May 10 at her home. She was a protegee of Leon Theremin (Lev Termen), and a very close friend of his during the thirties.
A CD by Peter Frohmader & Richard Pinhas will be released in autumn '98.
Lalo Schifrin, the famous innovative soundtrack composer, has launched a record label: Aleph Records. Schifrin is the Aleph's artistic director and the label's main artist.
