December 9, 1998.

BRIEFS:

December 9, 1998. SOUNDTRACK BY YANNI.

The soundtrack Steal The Sky is the new release by Yanni. Produced in 1988, the HBO original movie (with Mariel Hemingway and Ben Cross) is a tale of intrigue set during Israel's Six-Day War in 1967. Yanni composed and performed the soundtrack to this motion picture before his rise to international superstardom, so it's missed the public ear until now. While the music on this CD is dominated by Yanni's synthesizers, such additional elements as a zimbalom and an Arabic ensemble add a Mediterranean flavor to the music.

December 9, 1998. LUIS ALBERTO NARANJO, A NEW WAY TO MAKE NEW INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC.

Luis Alberto Naranjo is an interesting new composer. His music could be defined as Electronic New Instrumental Music, although it also enters Space Music sometimes. He combines warm melodies with ethereal environments, outlining a sonic landscape of a romantic-cosmic character. Touches of Synth-Pop are also present. More information here:
