LEO FILLOY

"HORIZONTE IMAGINARIO"

Vade Records

Leo Filloy is a musician who loves landscapes. From them he extracts a good part of his wondrous inspiration, fusing what its contemplation suggests, together with the most advanced electronic technology. Horizonte Imaginario is his second album, although from its release he has collaborated with other musicians and has released another work, Reunión. In this album he is accompanied by Germán Alonso at the flutes and sikus, plus Cecilia Pesci and Mónica Ferrero, vocals. The result cannot be more convincing: melody and atmospheres, plenty of imagination and magnificient titles for the songs. In all, these are 9 themes that reveal the artistic maturity of the composer, his gradual use of African rhythms together with the synthesizers, samplers and other keyboards, as well as his wide musical vision. Filloy also drinks from certain eastern influences, giving to his work a stylistic aura that goes beyond his roots, the jazz-fusion. This album, in short, shows an artist in constant progression, whose music, pleasant and without any stridencies, takes us to a peculiar journey towards a horizon that does not exist.
