OUR REVIEW

The publication of information in Internet is reaching a considerable sophistication, basically thanks to the application of new technologies in the design of the famous web pages. Yet the medium and the users keep asking for more and more interaction, more animations, more functions... To do that, it is necessary to use adecuate programming languages.

This book is a complete introduction to most of them, like Perl, Java, JavaScript, VBScript, or C, which makes it into a tremendously useful tool for the programmer and the webmaster who have to produce scripts for their pages.

Web Programming Languages is accompanied by countless examples as well as a CD ROM with very interesting libraries and utilities. We will learn how to build sophisticated forms, to use our server, to adapt already designed solutions, etc. Perhaps one of the chapters which turns out to be most attractive indeed is the great amount of sources commented there, where one can find even more examples and scripts ready to be used or adapted.
