This album is a very interesting collaboration between composers and synthesists Mario Schonwalder and Frank Rothe. The first one is very well-known because of his long, brilliant career. And the second has earned his prestige as a performance musician in some memorable concerts.

Both of them attracted by the analog sound, they worked together in several occasions, from 2007 to 2010, accumulating numerous recordings, from which they selected the themes included in this CD.

The style of the album flows mainly through Space Sequencer Music of analog sound, with traits typical of the School of Berlin, but also exploring in other directions

"Filter-Kaffe 101" is an intense work, overflowing with impressive sounds, melodies ranging from the mysterious to the romantic, to the epic, and powerful rhythms.
