Stephanie Sante is a composer capable of plunging us into unearthly regions, dominated by the heavenly, although with dark secret paths as well. Using synthesizers with great warmth, she creates pieces of a crystaline ambient, ethereal, ingravid. The music is mostly static, with melodic waves that come and go, though there also are rhythmic passages where she makes an imaginative use of sequencers.
