David Neelin, Ruby, Daneka Lisa Smith and Madelynn Kiernan are Exovedate in this third work by this Canadian band. This new release is inspired by the writings of the "Malleus Malificarum", a medieval book which was used as the handbook for the persecution and torture of witches during the Inquisition. This album can be defined as Gothic, although it also enters classical symphonism and atmospheric Pop sometimes. In Seduced by Illusions Exovedate combine dark and dreamy melodies of great strength, with unearthly environments, outlining an impressive sonic landscape of a mystic-cosmic character. With respect to the instruments used, the synthesizers, theremin and electronic devices played by David are combined with the mysterious and sensual voices of Ruby, Daneka Lisa and Madelynn.
