Pianist Kevin Kern has created an album very much in the New Instrumental Music wave, yet also near to Classical Music. The music is romantic, with sensual melodies. A certain nostalgic air is present in most of the themes, although there are others with merry, festive passages. The piano is the soloist instrument in the ten pieces this album consists of. In some passages there are piano solos, whereas in others the piano is accompanied by several other instruments.
