IURY LECH

"A BITE IN THE COMMON SENSE" (Re-distribution)

Insolit

A bite in the common sense by Iury Lech consists of thirteen pieces of varied styles, some of them very innovative, independent from the most usual frameworks in electronic music. Rhythm has a pervasive presence, be it in itself as such or supporting the melody on its own. It is difficult to acknowledge whether sequencers have been used, since the performance of sequences is so diverse and fresh that it looks as if it were played in a direct way. It also is difficult to classify many of the tracks, since because of their innovative character there seldom are references we could consign to. Many passages turn out to be cosmic. A certain symphonic classicism can be perceived throughout most of the work.
