Vestiges is the third CD project by Jeff Pearce, an excellent American musician who has composed six beautiful ambient pieces for this album. Guitars and synthesizers produce sophisticated sounds and textures that create an special, dreamer atmosphere. This is an album charged with sonic vibrations that slowly change. The last piece is a long and evocative suite. Pure space music that make us to think about a vast universe of colours and shapes. Pearce is influenced by friends like Steve Roach and Vidna Obmana, but his style is very personal and unique. Vestiges is a limited edition recording that will probably be of interest to all space/ambient music fans.
