Ken Elkinson is a gifted and very young American pianist and Midnight Conversation is his debut CD. It contains 10 piano solos, all of them full of emotions and tenderness. The music shows intimistic details, providing a sensation of calmness that make it very pleasant to listen to. Perhaps you will find here certain influences from the early works by George Winston. Anyway, all songs, composed by an inspired Elkinson, certainly are a very good debut. His professional career has only begun but it already promises a successful future. The CD also includes a poem written by Dan Elkinson, Ken's brother.
