SUZANNE CIANI AND THE WAVE

"LIVE!"

Seventh Wave

After 10 albums and many concerts around the world, Suzanne Ciani offers us her first live recording. To make this adventure possible, Suzanne has played with a new incredible group of musicians called The Wave. There you will find Paul McCandless (soprano saxophone, piccolo saxophone, oboe, english horn, bass clarinet, and penny whistle), Michael Manring (bass guitar), Teja Bell (guitars, electric sitar, keyboards, and percussion), Kalani (percussion), Matt Eakle (flute and penny whistle), Jeremy Cohen (violin and percussion) and Doug Harman (cello, keyboards, and percussion). Of course, Suzanne plays keyboards and the CD includes many of the best themes composed by her. The sound for some of them has changed a little: same beauty, more energy. The CD was recorded at the Herbst Theatre in San Francisco (March 14/15, 1997) and contains 16 great pieces, more than 74 minutes of music, including the famous Neverland, The Velocity of Love, Hotel Luna... A perfect sound and some arrangements that show us a new face of this artist. This is an album that realizes one of her dreams and also those of many fans that probably will like to explore more of this path Suzanne has just began.
