KLAUS SCHULZE

"INTER*FACE (Re-release)"

Manikin Records

This CD is a very much expected re-release by Klaus Schulze's fans. Inter*Face, originally released in 1985, was deleted from the catalogue four years after its release, and was not available for the following years, until 1997. Through four themes eminently rhythmic in nature in which Schulze utilizes all sorts of electronic keyboards, sequencers and percussion, the listener feels trapped and attracted towards the personal journey of the artist. The music vary between Electronic Pop and Space Sequencer Music. "On the Edge", "Colours in the Darkness" and "The Beat Planante" are near to synth-Pop. "Inter*Face", the long theme that gives its title to the album, enters within the realm of Space Music.
