KITARO

"CIRQUE INGENIEUX"

Domo Records

Cirque Ingenieux's original creator, Neil Goldberg, joined forces with theatrical producer, Ken Gentry, and director, Joe Leonardo, to bring the European Cirque tradition to the United States in a manner that had never been seen before: a Broadway-style production with a strong story-line. The music, created by Kitaro, is one of his best works. On the one hand, it has some romantic composicions with emotive melodies of a great strength. On the other hand, it has a collection of musical ideas difficult to classify. Getting far from the symphonic-romantic pieces that made him internationally known, he follows now a path through the combination of dark electronics, strong sequencers, and traits of Psychedelic Rock, Industrial Music and Heavy Metal. To do this he uses unconventional sonic architectures. This is one unusual album, fresh and innovative, which no doubt will contribute to increasing the reputation of the artist. In my opinion, this is one of the his best works. There is a limited edition with a CD-ROM included.
