Klaus Schonning's music in this album combines classical and Pop elements, in a style typical of the New Instrumental Music. Quite a lot of the pieces are romantic, in a mood more dramatic than merry, which prevents them from becoming too sweetish, and on the other hand allows for a greater impact. Some passages have certain mystery traits. In others, ethereal orchestrations can be appreciated, accompanying the soloist instruments. The synthesizers provide the album with a magical atmosphere ideal to wrap the melodies in.
