German synthesist Peter Schaefer has left his usual line of work and the orientation of his style, to record a static album, enigmatic, nocturnal, oneiric, entering Ambient and Industrial Music. To do this, he has not used any computers, but rather a Moog synthesizer, a sampler, tapes with or without loop, and a few instruments more. Schaefer elaborated the music in a very spontaneous way, although using carefully prepared elements; for instance, the natural sounds that appear in some passages were recorded by himself in Malaysia and Australia. The result is a journey through hypnotic sonic worlds, that appear to have been taken out of surrealist dreams.
