This is a compilatory album that gathers a selection of pieces from different albums by Terry Oldfield: "Resurrection" from Icon, "The March of a Thousand Days" from Spirit of Africa, "The Listening Heart" from Spirit of Rainforest, "De Profundis" from Out of the Depths, "Illumination" from Illumination, "Celebration in Katmandu" from Resonance, "Awakening the Seed Dreamer" from Australia, "Footprints of Buddha's Children" from Spirit of Tibet, "Treading the Path" from Zen, "Olympus" from Cascade, "Dyfuna" from Illumination, and "Between two Worlds" from Spirit of Rainforest. The themes here selected constitute a good sample of the music by this artist. In them, beautiful melodies that range from a classical romanticism to a World Music of mystic suggestions are plentiful.
