The music by Arás is an imaginative fusion of folklores, shaped by the artistic personality of the two musicians that form Curandero. Two important elements in this CD are the melodies having a Flamenco air performed with the acoustic guitar, and the rhythms elaborated with percussion instruments from India. Also there are some traits from Jazz, Latin folklore and other varied elements that contribute to enrich these pieces. Mention must be made of the participation in this album of Bela Fleck playing the banjo and that of Kai Eckhardt playing the bass.
