"THE LANZAROTE CONCERT"

This is a double CD recorded live during the performance of the German synthesist Mathias Grassow in the "Cueva de los Verdes", an enormous natural cavern in the Spanish island of Lanzarote. The album consists in seven long themes, with a total running time of 142 minutes. The music is cosmic, hypnotic, dark, static. It is based in sharp chords which go on for a very long time indeed. Although the character of the music is basically electronic, there also are some acoustic instruments from ancient cultures.
