PILGRIM

"SEARCH FOR THE DREAMCHILD"

New World Music

Pilgrim is a band formed by James McCarty, Tania Matchett, John Richardson and Carmen Willcox. This album, a loyal reflection of the artistic direction of each one of its members, is an interesting combination of different elements, having a brilliant, homogeneous result. Taking as a starting point the classical romanticism typical of the end of the nineteenth century, the band has added some elements from modern trends, especially from pop and symphonic rock, thus achieving a sort of music which can be classified more or less within pop, but having a marked romantic character and strong classical traits. The important melodic component in the album also includes the participation of solo voices. The lyrics have been written by poet Carmen Willcox, who has been involved with the recording universe for some years now.
