This CD is the result of the joint work of seven artists who have been members of the Alif band since 1991. Their music, based in traditional African and Asian instruments, as well as in synthesizers, is very attractive and imaginative, since they have managed to gather the best in each element. They deal with, not mere folklore, but innovative rhythmic-melodic compositions, of an European conception, while taking advantage of the expression channels of the instruments available to them, furthermore surpassing cultural barriers.
