Katie Agresta, world renowned vocal coach, singer, multi-instrumentalist, composer, lecturer, published author, T.R.T. Reiki Master and Healer, will host a CD signing of her new album Inside The Light at HMV - Georgetown. The event is being held on Friday, December 6, beginning at 4:00 PM.
CNN News Worldwide has called Katie "A Master Teacher" because of her incredible ability to cultivate some of the greatest voices of our time. Included among her 3,000 + students are Grammy Winners Jon Bon Jovi, Annie Lennox, Joe Jackson, Meat Loaf and Cyndi Lauper. Her new age lifestyle carries over to her teaching technique which includes yoga, meditation, massage and diet. Not only does she teach one-on-one, but she also leads performance seminars throughout the US and Canada. In addition, she freelances as a recording consultant and album co-producer for artists such as Richie Sambora and Serah.
Katie's interest in sound healing and yoga chanting inspired the beautiful and tender creation of her debut album, Inside the Light. The album is an collection of orchestrated Sanskrit chants and original melodies backed by synthesizers and guitars.
