Previous Page (News Index).UK, November 1. On Air is the new album by Alan Parsons. It is dedicated to the human activity in the air. The idea to choose this theme as a basis for a new work came out after the tragic death of an American pilot who had been killed while on a peaceful mission, gunned down by his own mates, who had mistaken him for an enemy on the border between Iraq and Kuwait. The pilot was a relative of Ian Bairnson's, a guitarist in Parsons's band, which gave rise to the creation of this CD. Besides its containing music, it also includes CD-ROM multimedia material, consisting in images on human flight.
