GEODESIUM

Geodesium: a blending of the words "geodesic dome" and "planetarium" describing the environment which first gave birth to the space music of Mark C. Petersen. He is unquestionably the most prolific composer for the medium, and the Geodesium name has become synonymous with planetarium music. Since 1978, more than 600 planetaria in the U.S. and 28 other countries have purchased Mark's music for their audiences.

Mark plays electronic keyboards, synthesizers and digital samplers, blended in a rich tapestry of original soundscapes and melodies. His albums feature approximately an hour of original music, much of it originally created for soundtracks of planetarium shows.
