DENISE YOUNG: "SOMETHING YOU DREAM OF..." Composer and pianist Denise Young shows an exquisite sensitivity in this album, brimming with romantic melodies, with themes or passages having an intimist air, others of a more symphonic character, and even several streaks pervaded by melancholy. The piano poses a great leading role throughout the entire album, although it is well complemented by other instruments played by renowned performers, such as for instance guitarist Will Ackerman, who also has taken care of the production of the CD.
