KAREN MARIE GARRETT: "IT'S ABOUT THE ROSE" Waterstreet Records Karen Marie Garrett is a composer who can very well transmit a remarkable warmth in her music. In this album she takes as a starting point the most romantic side of Contemporary Instrumental Music so as to offer us a lovely recital where we can also find Classical elements as well as some touches of Ambient. There are melancholy themes and passages, others having a festive character, and also some which are dominated by an exquisite sensuality. A very good cast of performers has collaborated with the artist in this occasion: Will Ackerman, Eugene Friesen, Noah Wilding, Corin Nelsen, Derrik Jordan, Jeff Oster, Steve Schuch and T-Bone Wolk.
