Swedish composer Johan Agebjorn has a quite multi-faceted style. He works in various avant-garde trends, and all these sides can be perceived in

"The Mountain Lake".

There are themes of melodic Synth-Pop, others between Techno and radical Trance, several of an Ambient or Industrial feel, and also passages and a theme clearly identifiable as Space Sequencer Music.

In my opinion, the best theme of the album is "Siberian Train", electronic music at the same time rhythmic and adventurous, icy and romantic, and with a bewitching melody, wrapped in misty atmospheres.

For some of the pieces in this disc, Agebjorn has also counted with the collaboration of Sally Shapiro, Lisa Barra, Glass Candy, NeonCoil, Sylwia van der Wonderland and Steve Moore.
