FUZZHEAD

"TECHNICOLOR SOUL"

Without Fear Recordings

Fuzzhead, the experimental rock band created by Bill Weita, marks a before and and after in the history of avantgarde Pop. Now, his album "Technicolor Soul", digitally re-mastered by the leader of the band, is available in the alternative label Without Fear Recordings. With a great deal of ease and imagination, the themes break with casings, bypass barriers among styles and board psychedelic worlds from the realm of Funk and experimental Pop. Themes like for instance "Take me to the River" flow with unsuspected freshnes through paths of Psychedelia that have been seldom tread. An important part of the merit of the album is the fact that it succeeds in reaching these peaks or abysses without falling into arid experimentation that disturbs musical perception. Neither exaggerated stridencies, nor shapeless noisism, only a well planned path towards solitary, marginal corners of Rock.
