Herman Delago presents in this album a musical portrait of the essence of Tyrolean music where a trance-like state of consciousness is reflected, thus opening our inner mind to the spiritual stimuli in our world, to the basic elements of human nature. The music blends the typical sounds of alphorns with didgeridoos, brass and percussion, synthesizers and bells, adding ethnic traits from Asia, Africa and America. The seven pieces in the CD range from the meditative to the relaxing. Also, some touches of Minimalism, Techno, World Music, New Age Music, and New Instrumental Music are masterfully fusioned, thus resulting in a CD where the forces of nature, the feeling of the sacred spiritual world, the sense of home and exotic musical traditions take us to a voyage through soundscapes as varied as life itself.
