Born in 1945 in Germany, he began as a musician in the sixties, having a great interest in transmitting ecological and spiritual ideas through his compositions. After a serious car accident in 1970, he meditated on his life and gave a definite leap towards music. His first album was released in 1971. During several years he lived in India, and later moved to France and to the United States. Throughout his career, he has earned a great charisma as an artist who expresses his art with sincerity, never allowing himself to become seduced by the materialistic advantages ef commercial success.
