HIMEKAMI

Himekami is basically Yoshiaki Hoshi, a Japanese composer born in 1946, who is accompanied by other musicians. In 1971, Hoshi won the First Prize of a national contest for interpreters of electronic organ. His activity as a performer later gave way to his work as a composer. His first record appeared in 1981. He has also composed some movie soundtracks. In 1993, he was the musical conductor of the opening ceremonies of the World Championship of Alpine Sports, held in Japan.
